Dear Valued Customer,
As part of our Company mission, we are dedicated to bringing you the best products and services at competitive prices. The tariffs announced by the United States Trade Representative (USTR) under Section 301 that went into effect on July 6th, 2018, with additional products added to the list on August 23rd , have impacted our supply chain. All items identified as classified under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) with a country of origin of China are subject to a 25% duty upon importation into the United States. See List 1, List 2, and List 3.
IoTecha continues to work toward minimizing the impact of the tariffs to our customers. However, since our suppliers produce components in multiple countries, it is not known until time of receipt/shipment if, and to what extent, the tariff will apply. In an effort to provide more transparency and simplify the buying process with us, tariffs will now be applied during invoicing. Effective June 10, 2019, the price of the tariff, if any, will appear as a separate line item on your invoice.
