CHARIN ROCKS THE EVS30 IN STUTTGART!
January 11, 2018
The CharIN joint booth, with 11 exhibitors and over 220 square meters, was the largest booth and one of the main attractions at the 30th Electric Vehicle Symposium from October 9th – 11th in Stuttgart.
The CharIN poster presentation at the conference program, the booth party on Monday evening, the annual General Assembly with a get-together on Tuesday, and the many visitors, new contacts, interesting discussions during three days made for a full and exciting program.
Some of the highlights at the booth were a BMW i8, an Energica motorcycle and an EV Tronic 350 kW satellite kiosk, just to name a few of the exhibits.
The CharIN joint booth and the entire program were a huge success for the young CharIN e.V. Oleg Logvinov, CEO of IoTecha, described it well during an interview at the show:
“Our company is from the Unites States of America, but our business is global. Our goal is to make implementation of the CCS based charging infrastructure fast and simple. We provide highly integrated modules equipped with OCPP 1.6J and ISO/IEC 15118 protocols for EV Chargers and a cloud platform for EV Charger management. The CharIN e.V. joint booth here at the EVS30 is a fantastic platform that not only improves the visibility of companies exhibiting under the umbrella of CharIN, but also fosters collaboration among CharIN members and players interested in the growth of the worldwide EV market and ecosystem. The growth of the CharIN membership from 10 or so members two years ago to over 100 members today is clear evidence of the powerful tidal wave rising on the horizon. EVs (cars, busses, motorcycles, and other electrified forms of transportation) are about to overtake the market and worldwide interoperability enabled by CCS and supported by CharIN is the foundation for this remarkable change. IoTecha is proud to be a member of CharIN e. V. and contribute to the worldwide success of CharIN’s initiatives.”
