IEEE JOINED WSIS FORUM 2016 AS A CONTRIBUTING SPONSOR

This May marked a new milestone for the ICT community brought together under the aegis of the World Summit on the Information Society. Oleg Logvinov, chair of the IEEE Internet Initiative and President and CEO of IoTecha Corporation, addressed the event’s opening ceremony and took part in a thematic, interactive workshop, “Internet Governance, Security, Privacy and the Ethical Dimension of ICTs in 2030″.
Together with IEEE as its contributing sponsor, the WSIS Forum 2016 has introduced an efficient mechanism for information exchange, creation of knowledge and sharing of best practices among public/private partnerships to foster the implementation of development goals.
IoTecha’s President & CEO Oleg Logvinov represented the IEEE Internet Initiative and shared his vision to more than 1,800 global technology trend setters: “Through the IEEE Internet Initiative, IEEE shares the goals of the WSIS Forum to focus on allowing all of us to enjoy the benefits of a society powered by Information.
